Our research interests are to understand the mechanisms by which cancer cells become resistant to chemotherapy, to design nanoparticles for drug delivery, and to design and test microRNA and small interferfering RNA (siRNA)-based therapies for advanced cancers that are resistant to current standard chemotherapy regimens.
